I am really passionate about quality.

I had this realization when I was talking to my sons about their chores a while ago. I was asking them to do a better job, and take pride in their efforts. They began complaining about things that were “not their job”.

I explained to them that doing a good job is not the responsibility of one person, and that everyone is responsible for quality… And then I realized that I have had the exact same conversations with development, product and management in the past.

I chuckled to myself, and thought, “Wow, you really believe this stuff!”
